Abstract:
Contactless study of cardiac and respiratory rhythms with ultrasonic beats are one of the promising areas of modern medicine. However, along with the obvious advantages of this type of research there is a problem of insufficient reliability of contactless registration . The problem involves limited radiation pattern and the limited width of the area receiving the ultrasonic radiation used in ultrasonic transducers .
This paper proposes two ways to increase the reliability of registration:
the method uses a wide radiation pattern;
the method using a matrix of ultrasonic transducers.
The first approach solves the problem of increasing reliability , but does not allow to detect small fluctuations in the patient's chest , associated with palpitation , reduction in mind the sensitivity of recording .
The second method allows you to increase the reception area of ultrasonic radiation , and also to expand the surface area of the chest is scanned . By using matrix converters solved the problem of reliability while maintaining high detection sensitivity achieved by the use of ultrasonic beats.
In addition, the paper considers the correlation method of measurement information processing with multiple channels of matrix ultrasonic transducer . Using this method of treatment in conjunction with a matrix of ultrasonic transducers to create a highly sensitive and reliable method for detecting processes heartbeat and breathing person.
