Abstract:
Today there is no clear concepts about the morphological changes in the organ of Corti in ototoxic impact on the ear. In this regard, it seems to be topical study of morphological processes in the structures of the inner ear in sensorineural hearing loss (SHL). Тhe aim of work to study the changes in the vascular strip in experimental SHL caused by aminoglycosides antibiotic. The study was performed on 16 Guinea pig without hearing pathology. After modeling sensorineural hearing loss by means of gentamicin-sulfate in ototoxic dose, by the method of in vivo isolation snails was extracted the vascular streak of an inner ear, after which the standard preparation and staining with hematoxylin and eosin was subjected to morphological study using light microscopy. The animals of the experimental group were determined hemodynamic disturbances in the vascular strip in an interleaved fashion spastic and extended segments of vessels. In the epithelial cells of the vascular strips were marked by the following changes: extension of intercellular gaps, reducing and deformation of the cells, the emergence of coarsely dispersed condensed chromatin in nuclei, offset the major nucleoli to the periphery, fragmentation of nuclei. Described pathological changes characteristic for the various stages of apoptosis. Evidence suggests that the death of the population of the epithelial cells of the vascular strips organ of Corti occurs by apoptosis.
