Abstract:
The present stage of development of sports is characterized by growth of the volume and intensity of physical activity in the training process. The body of an athlete already in adolescence for increased requirements related to the level of physical development, functionality of the organism, this is essential and psycho-physiological peculiarities of personality. The purpose of the study was to examine the age features the psycho-physiological indices of personality of female athletes involved in ski racing. 76 were female skiers aged 14-16 years of age (34 girls) and 17-19 years (42 female) involved in the training and the training group IV and V training on the base of OLYMPIC education skiing center were examined. Monitoring of psycho-physiological indices included an assessment of the level of social and psychological adaptation (by A. K. Osnicky), stress, conflict in relations (by Thomas), level of aggression (by Bass - Darky), temperament (by Eisenk), time of simple visual-motor response, reactions on the moving object, the level of situational and personal anxiety (by Spilberger - Hanin), the level of attention and short-term memory [1]. The girls had the higher speed of simple visual-motor response than female (208 ± 3.2 and 236.7 ± 11.4 msec), however, the girls have had more mistakes (3.7 ± 0.1 and 1 ± 0.03 msec). While studying the reaction of athletes on a moving object is detected, the girls are significantly dominated by processes of excitation (1172 + 101 msec) compared with girls (298 ± 14.9 msec) [3]. The best concentration of attention have girls than girls, respectively 63 ± 16 and 72.1 ± 3.5 sec at a rate of 40 to 60 seconds. Whereas reactive and personal anxiety in female skiers in adolescence (27 ± 3 and 23.5 ± 0.9 points) were higher than among girls (43 ± 4 and 38.5 ± 1.1 points). Analysis of the psycho-physiological status of all women surveyed identified line of most indicators of age. Skiing raised the level of emotional stress in girls skiers in pubertal age. Suspicion, verbal aggression, guilt and resentment were slightly higher among adolescents. Female - skiers have higher rates of stress resistance, cooperation, compromise, тhe satisfaction of the, tools, self-control and desire for domination. At the same time, high motivation to success and expressed attitude to their own health in all the surveyed female- skiers shows favorable impact of sports on the formation of a successful and healthy personality [2].
