Time dynamics of the pulse wave spectral features received by the photoplethysmography

Abstract:
The methodology of time dynamic investigations of pulse wave spectral features, received by the photoplethysmography measurements are presented. Plethysmogram registrated from a patient's finger using the device «Biomouse», which is a couple of optoelectronic, built in computer mouse. Possible to study the temporal evolution of the spectrograms is based on the Window Fourier Transform. The comparative spectral analysis of the pulse wave signals showed significant differences in the dynamics of the spectrograms of a healthy person and a person with a several pathology. The results can be used in functional and nosological diagnosis.
