Electromagnetic safety of advanced active protection information systems

Abstract:
Today there are the products of new generation focused on perspective means of active protection confidential information of commercial appointment in the market. Features and tactical and technical data of these active protection systems of information is such that they require adaptation approach - taking into account the efficiency, accuracy and execution of an examination in actual use of active protection of confidential information. Purpose of the article - is the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of possible options for the examination of the electromagnetic field with the help of measuring tools and techniques provided by domestic normative documents. The first option - is a safety evaluation of the emitters of noise and noise-type signals using broadband power meter electromagnetic field levels. The advantage of this variant of the examination is the presence of standard measurement tools that fully comply with the requirements of the normative documents. The second option of expertise is to use a device designed to measure the levels of the electric field and the levels of power flux density (energy per unit time) of the wave electromagnetic field according to normative documents. Since both options of the examination with the help of broadband power meter of electromagnetic field levels have significant shortcomings, a third option associated with completion of method as applied to the operating frequency of the emitters of noise and noise-type signals has been considered. The advantage of a third option of the examination is an opportunity to assess the safety of the electromagnetic field within the entire operating range of the transmitter. The methods and results of safety analysis for the environment emitters of noise and noise-type signals by the factor of non-ionizing electromagnetic field are presented. Findings are destined for environmental monitoring by a factor of electromagnetic field and design of active protection system of confidential information.
