Abstract:
The possibility of local hyperthermia in brain tumors using a focused electromagnetic field. As the focusing system a composition of ring arrays with common geometric-focal center. The results of computer simulation of spatial PAR formed shestnadtsatielementnymi orthogonal circular antenna array of vertically oriented half-wave dipoles with the same radius of 1.5 m The distribution of the absorbed power in the human mind, and the temperature distribution in the interior tissues with a power output of each emitter 23.6 Tues, provides temperature 42,5 ℃, the local volume smaller than a cubic 1sm3. Thus, the problem of local hyperthermia in the internal tissues of the human head can be achieved by means of spherical phased arrays, incomplete filling, in particular the combination of two orthogonally arranged circular arrays.
