Abstract:
Influence of breathing frequency on cardiorespiratory variables is investigated under paced respiration with breathing rates from 4 to 25 breaths per minute. The results indicate that paced respiration with different breathing frequencies is associated with slight hyperventilation but does not have a decisive influence on heart rate and blood pressure.
