The suggested method of the preliminary processing of medical images which contain small-sized and low contrast objects with the aim of the improvement of detection efficiency of research objects is sent for approval of their parameters with properties of the researcher-s sight system. This method includes the following stages: viewing of the whole image by a researcher, selection the zone of interest containing possible objects, staining of the selected part of the image, zooming of the image area is performed in accordance with the calculated dependence of the probability of correct detection of objects according with their size in the image for the given observation conditions. This transformation procedure leads to the fact that research objects of interest become more visible and can be detected.
