Abstract:
One of the priority problems of the work-analysis of the ENT-doctor is increase of his work capacity, attentiveness and also quality of medical aid. These factors depends not only on knowledge and professional skills of ENT-doctor, but also from convenience, simplicity and ergonomics of maintained devices and workplace components. The principles of the organization of out-patient place of the ENT-doctor have been developed more than 100 years ago. They are stereotypic all over the world, but the urgency of ergonomic researches in this area has not disappeared. This article describes the viewing office of the ENT-doctor from the ergonomist-s point of view. On the results of the analysis of professional work of the ENT-doctor, the block-diagram of work stages has been made. The block-scheme includes 9 stages, which are shown in the article. In the course of research of ENT activity two basic working zones have been revealed: a place for conversations with patients and official paper registration, and a viewing place. The ergonomic rules and norms can help in designing both zones the most effective way. The place for conversations with patients and official paper registration at the ENT-doctor office might be characterized as a typical office worker place: an armchair, a table, working space, means of information display, controls and the additional equipment. The model of a viewing place is formed to a morphological sign: an armchair of the doctor, an armchair of the patient, a table with a viewing lamp and tools and working space. By results of the primary ergonomic analysis of the out-patient ENT-doctor-s office it is possible to make a conclusion that, despite all evidence, the given working field is a very difficult organized system. The account of ergonomic recommendations at a stage of its designing will allow not only keep health of the doctor, but also raise efficiency of his work.
