The aim of this investigation was the measurement of the tristimulus values of the scales Vita3D, VitaC-lassic, Tetric EvoCeram, that are used for the identification of the teeth colors in clinics, three types of composite resins Ecusit, Filtek SupremeXT, Tetric EvoCeram, using in dental practice, and their comparison with the tristimulus values of the enamel and dentine of the extracted human teeth. The detection of the tristimulus values in all the cases was made by spectrophotometer AvaSpec 2048 FT and program AVASOFT 6.2. AvaSpec 2048 FT. The results describe conformity of the scales, used in dental practice for the detection of the teeth color, composite resins, the extracted human teeth. Are established discrepancy of composite materials colors of enamel and dentine of the extracted human teeth, and also insufficient variability of scales colors for definition of a teeth color in dental practice.
