Investigation of the Effectiveness of Electromagnetic Radiation Therapy of Terahertz Range at the Frequencies of Molecular Spectrum of Nitric Oxide in the Complex Prophylaxis of Vein Thrombosis in Traumatological Patients

Abstract:
Deep vein thrombosis is one of most severe complication in surgical patients. Using of standard heparin prophylaxis of the thrombosis has some negative effects. The results of investigations were carried out earlier allowed us to propose the possibility of improving of the blood viscosity pattern due to combined pharmacological and physiotherapeutic treatment. The object of the study was investigation of the influence of electromagnetic radiation of terahertz range at the frequencies of molecular spectrum of nitric oxide (THz-therapy-NO) on the blood viscosity pattern and vein blood floor dynamic in traumatological patients. For the purpose of this study we examined 38 patients with cruse bone fractures, who were underwent of surgical treatment. All this patients were examined by means of the blood viscosity measurement and of ultrasound Doppler monitoring of deep veins of low limbs before and for the 9-10th day after operation. The results demonstrate that the earlier posttraumatic period in patients with cruse bone fractures is accompanied by moderate insufficiency of deep veins of the damaged lag. The insufficiency is characterized by decreasing of vein blood floor velocity in 2,34-2,59 times and by increasing of the vein diameter in on 32-51%. Standard heparin prophylaxis of the vein thrombosis did not allow to improve the indexes of aggregation and deformation of erythrocytes in 9-10th day after operation. Using of THz-therapy-NO in the combined prophylaxis of the vein thrombosis was accompanied by statistically true decreasing of index of aggregation of erythrocytes on 0,14 unit and by increasing of index of deformation of erythrocytes on 0,07 unit. It was shown that the usage of THz-therapy-NO in complex medical rehabilitation of the patients with cruse bone fractures promoted to improve blood viscosity pattern in comparison with routine scheme of deep vein thrombosis prophylaxis.
