Abstract:
Scientific and practical activity of doctors-orthopedists and prosthetists is based on hardware-software complexes with matrix pressure-measuring devices: for dynamoplantography - analysis of pressure dynamics under feet; for zone dynamography - analysis of pressure in contact zones of prosthetic and orthopedic appliance elements with patient-s body. In this article we have tried to provide a clinical physician with information on the basic characteristics of matrix pressure-measuring devices, which should be taken into account at buying and operation of these complexes. This information can also be of interest for developers of such complexes. This article covers the features of various types of matrix pressure-measuring devices: for dynamoplantography - floor platforms, treadbahn platforms, floor paths and functional insoles, which are put in footwear at examination; for zone dynamography - as plates, tapes, single sensors. In view of problems and conditions of biomechanical examination we should discuss an importance of the following characteristics of the complexes - sensors report rate, data transmission method, resolution of sensor matrix, range of measurements, noise stability, dependence of transfer function on temperature, thickness of measuring modules, stability of transfer characteristics of measuring module with time, error of measurements, operational cost of the complex. Special attention will be paid to the complexity of monitoring of measurement error at operation of matrix modules. This problem occurs, on the one hand, due to impossibility of creation of uniformly distributed loads to the module with the help of mechanical press, on the other hand - due to limitation of opportunities of use of the intended pneumatic loading device in clinical conditions.
