The article deals with the actual problem of increasing the efficiency of channel information transmission, especially in the context of real-time audio signal processing. Despite the widespread use of audio signal encodings, only a few of the codecs used include digital signal processing algorithms that provide adaptive filtering to improve the quality of received signals. The aim of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness and feasibility of using adaptive least squares filtering algorithms to suppress interference affecting audio signals in real time. In the course of the work, the effectiveness of the adaptive audio filtering algorithm was analyzed, a method for evaluating the effectiveness of adaptive filtering was developed, and numerical values of the correlation of the signal before and after filtering with the corresponding graphs were obtained. The results of the study allow us to evaluate the applicability of the adaptive filtering algorithm in working with audio signals, which is important for the development of audio processing technologies and improving the quality of audio data transmission.
