The evaluation of the informative parameters of signals in the operation of measuring systems is primarily due to the negative effects of noise and interference. For radar and radio navigation systems, it is relevant to search for new ways to improve the accuracy of the estimates of the informative parameter obtained when receiving information from several sources. To construct and analyze algorithms for combining estimates of an unknown parameter obtained by independent meters at various levels of a priori uncertainty. The presented results are related to the study of the possibility of estimating informative parameters of signals by algorithms combining estimates of unknown parameters obtained by independent meters at various levels of a priori uncertainty. The problem of combining estimates based on Bayesian algorithms for parameter estimation is considered in the solution. In most cases, a priori information about statistical characteristics is limited, therefore, the issue of obtaining partial estimates based on the maximum likelihood criterion is considered.
The presented results show the possibility of improving the accuracy of measuring an informative parameter by jointly processing information signals from meters operating in different frequency ranges.
