The problem of pointing control objects at highly dynamic pursuit objects is very relevant and is largely determined by the quality of operation of the on-board radio electronic control systems (RESS) used, which implement various homing methods and trajectory control algorithms due to the possibilities of their practical implementation. The practical application of well-known trajectory control algorithms using the parallel approach method is associated with certain difficulties determined by direct measurement of the angular velocity of rotation of the line of sight (LV) or the need to estimate the velocity vectors of the OP and OP, as well as the range to the OP and the angular position of the LV, which is not always possible.
The purpose of the work is to analyze existing trajectory control algorithms and develop new ones using the parallel approach method, which can be applied to the operational control system to provide guidance to highly dynamic OP.
A brief analytical review of trajectory control algorithms and preliminary results of the development of modifications of projection-kinematic and quasi-gradient trajectory control algorithms providing the implementation of the parallel approach method are presented. The results obtained show the commonality and differences between the implementation options for trajectory control algorithms that implement the parallel approach method, and may be useful to specialists involved in the development of RESS facilities.
