Abstract:

An equivalent circuit of the shielded loop antenna is made. Recurrence relations are obtained, which allow to pass from the mathematical model of the single-turn shielded loop antenna to the mathematical model of the loop antenna of the N-loop. The load resistance is converted to the input of an equivalent generator. The results of calculations of the impedance matching factor for loop  antennas with different number of turns are presented. The concepts of small, medium and large loop antennas are introduced. The choice of the number of turns for each group of loop antennas is justified.
