In this article methods of debugging and testing of external devices emulators hardware component are suggested. Structure chart of debugging and testing is suggested. It is noted, that it is necessary to settle the questions of debugging and testing on every stage of mainframes external devices emulators development. The methods of debugging by means of channel simulator are described. The structure chart of mainframes channel simulator is produced.
