Zinc for Humans: Therapeutic Impact and Toxicity

Abstract:
Zinc deficiency is prevalent worldwide. Growth retardation, immune disorders and cognitive impairment are the serious health problems resulting from zinc deficiency. Beside them, zinc deficiency can cause other health disturbances. On the other hand, zinc supplementation can improve health condition in certain cases.
