Abstract:
The total content of antioxidants and their activity are measured by ammetric and voltammetric methods in saps of some succulent plants like: Callisia fragrans (Lindl.) Woodson, Rhoeo spathacea (Swartz) Stearn, Dichorisandra fragrans (thyrsiflora Mikan), Kalanchoё blossfeldiana Poellnitz, Kalanchoё pinnatum tomentosa Baker and Kalanchoё daigremontiana Hamet et Perrier. Values of the total content of antioxidants varies in the range of 64...461 g/l (quercetin as a substance for comparison), and values of kinetic criterion K varies in the range of 0.52...4.12 micromole/l×min. The correlation coefficient for the values measured by these two methods is high and has the value of 0.96.
