Abstract:

Pulse electric currents are widely used in medical physiotherapy practice and in the training process of athletes in order to increase endurance, speed-strength qualities, and improve motor actions. The therapeutic effect of pulse currents allows for the restoration of the activity of organs and tissues that have lost their normal function, as well as for changing the functional state of nerves and muscles. In this case, both individual pulses with variable duration and series of pulses with a specific current strength, frequency, and oscillation form are used. Traditionally, impulse oscillations of three main forms are used to solve the problems of physiotherapy: rectangular, triangular and exponential. The formation of new forms of impulse oscillations with the possibility of prompt change of their parameters will allow to improve the technique and efficiency of physiotherapeutic treatment.

Development of a functional voltage converter circuit that allows for the implementation of exponential dependencies, which can be used to create pulses with various shapes of rising and falling edges.

A video pulse generator circuit has been developed that generates pulses fronts can be shaped according to specific piecewise linear or piecewise nonlinear functions.

The developed scheme for generating exponential video impulses can be used to create new physiotherapy devices or to expand the functions of existing ones.
