Abstract:
The paper discusses approaches to integrative assessment of the regulatory responses to cold exposure from the natives of the various climatic and geographical regions during the adaptation to changed climatic conditions. The results of studies of heart rate variability during the tests of local cooling of the limbs. It is concluded that the proper response to a cold ex-posure the autonomic NS is mildly increased tone of the sympathetic and parasympathetic divisions of the ANS maintaining a balance between these systems. Reaction on cooling with a predominance of activity of the parasympathetic division of the ANS is seen as the manifestation of inadaptability.
