The results of study of relationship between objective and subjective in understanding about own health are presented in the article. 210 persons aged 2165 participated in the study. Males (47%)andwomen(53%) constitutethesample. Assess-ments of health turned out to be heterogeneous, thus four different clusters have been formed. The group of respondents with adequate assessments consists of those whose subjective assessments correspond to objective ones. Another group consists of respondents with discordance in their assessments. A battery of methods was used in the study. Objective indices of health were measured by means of Varicard-2.8 - hardware and software complex. Varicard is assigned for evaluation of vegetative nervous system state by means of mathematical analysis of cardiac rate variability. Four different functional states can be diagnosed with this complex. The level of subjective health was measured by means of - Scale of subjective well-being - by M.V. Sokolova. Statistical analysis of the obtained data reveals that objective heals is at the border between nosological and premobide states, while the distribution of subjective assessments was heterogeneous. The results of correlation analysis show that for the respondents with high levels of psychological well-being and life satis-faction subjective assessments of health are higher than their objective indices. Respondents with the low levels of psycho-logical well-being and life satisfaction consider that their health is worse than it is in reality. It is possible that the increase of psychological well-being and the level of life satisfaction will result in increasing of subjective assessments of the health.
