Abstract:
It has been established by means of multiple regression analysis that the consumption levels of 10% from 39 investigated products (independent variables) are significantly associated with the breast, prostate and bladder cancer incidence rates (dependent variable) by positive and negative links for 161 countries. Sets of risk products for each of the tumor were dif-ferent: breast cancer - poultry meat, cheese, retinol, energy; prostate cancer - poultry meat, cheese, beer, onion; bladder cancer - pig meat, cheese, potatoes, tomatoes. However, for all of the studied tumors the group of risk includes protein products: poultry meat, pig meat, cheese. The identified patterns are of interest for the prevention and treatment of malig-nant diseases. It is important, that: country-specific prevention of various tumors may depend on consumption levels of risk products in this country. The obtained data require further research.
