Abstract:
The work investigated the osteogenic properties developed collagen-apatite material into the skull defect model in rats. Studies using cell culture methods, histology, confocal microscopy showed that the material is biocompatible, does not possess inflammatory local irritating action does not impede the osteogenesis. A clinical case of the treatment of osteomyelitis of the developed technique with the liquidation of purulent-necrotic process in the bone and absence of recurrence of the disease within 3 years.Supplied osteomyelitis model in rats with the development of the fistula forms. The experimental group received the closure of the fistulous, with the restoration of bone tissue. The results indicate the prospects of the developed material to repair damaged bone. The proposed method makes it possible to eliminate the process of osteomyelitis, save functionality bones and ensure the restoration of bone tissue with reduced trauma surgery and a reduction in terms of rehabilitation, reduce the likelihood of recurrence of osteomyelitis.
