Abstract:
Simulation of the main risk factors in IBMP experiments as well as the real manned space flight results indicate the possibility of development of insulin resistance and associated conditions classified as metabolic syndrome. A total of 58 men aged 35 - 5 with metabolic syndrome and with 10 to 20 years work experience in \"extreme conditions\" were studied. Treatment with telmisartan, losartan and enalapril in combination with bisoprolol, small doses of spironolactone and diuretics allowed to achieve full control of BP and HR without changing conditions. Cardioprotective, angioprotective and renoprotective effects of such combined treatment were marked. This allowed us to consider the remodeling processes of the cardiovascular and endocrine systems as adaptation to changed life conditions as well as to combined treatment during continuing high-intensity work and emotional stress.
