Hardware-software complexes for passive mechanotherapy

Abstract:
There is a consecutive expansion of persons to limited opportunities in modern conditions. Development of rehabilitation services is an important directions of medicine. Morphological changes and functional disturbances often appear at damages and diseases of the locomotor system which limit or completely exclude possibility of physical activity. It is often appearance of such conditions caused by insufficiently competent organization and lack of a treatment technique. Modern mechanotherapeutic devices allow to facilitate movements or to provide movement for increasing in joints' mobility, and also to train certain muscular groups. If to consider devices for passive mechanotherapy as separate independent devices, they can be presented in two functional series. Functional series of devices for mechanotherapy of horacic limb joints includes four devices: for mechanotherapy of arm, radiocarpal, elbow and shoulder joints. Functional series of devices for mechanotherapy of lower extremity joints includes three devices: for mechanotherapy of ankle, knee and coxofemoral joints. The last two devices can be united in one. There is actual organization of complex projects on development of the modern, inexpensive and available equipment with modern information support for a wide range of the population. It will allow to provide with the available qualified medical care hard-to-reach regions and to capture a network the whole regions, and then all country.
