Abstract:
The protective antitoxic effect of adaptation to changing oxygen level has been estimated in the model of К2Cr2О7 and benzene intoxication. Beneficial effect of adaptation to hypoxia and hyperoxia was demonstrated if it was applied both preliminary and simultaneously with intoxication period. Adaptation was capable to restore physical endurance, free radical oxidation, antioxidant enzymes activity, levels of HIF-1α and HSPs.
