Abstract:
Quality of life 86 patients (53 men and 33 women), who carried out arthroscopic ACL reconstruc-tion and 20 healthy subjects (15 men and 5 women) aged 17 - 46 years conducted by SF-36. Is established, that when entering the casualty department, all patients quality of life SF-36 were similarly reduced and reached extremely low values (p < 0,001) compared with normal. Thus, the magnitude scales, reflecting the physical component quality of life (PF, RP, BP, GH) decreased respectively by 2,7, 3,1, 2,4 and 3,5 times, and the mental component (VT, SF, RE, MH) of 2,2, 2,0, 2,7 and 2,3 times, respectively. Revealed that 1 year after surgery the values of indicators for assessing quality of life in pa-tients with increased and approached the values of the healthy group. Because, presumably, on the subjective assessment of the parameters of the physical pain and general health is influenced by similar factors, BP and GH significantly lower in the control group than in the primary (p < 0,05). In the same time, the scales PF, RP, VT and RE significant differences were found (p > 0,05). Assessment of mental health patients has shown that subjective assessment of mood in the main group was significantly higher than in the control (p < 0,05). Thus, the study of quality of life is a new methodology of modern health care, allowing patients to assess treatment outcomes, complementing traditional methods. Our data suggest that the knee injury dramatically reduces the quality of life and it should be taken into account in treatment and rehabilitation.
