Abstract:
3550 years passed since the clinical signs of diabetes mellitus were firstly described. Since that time, scientists of the world, have been participating in studying this disease in order to increase efficiency of treatment and quality of patients life, lower frequency and severity of diabetes mellitus complications. In the survey, main scientific inventions on studying diabetes mellitus and diabetic neuropathy from the first found descriptions to nowadays are reported.
