Abstract:

The choice of design parameters of an acousto-optic matched filter with "self-focusing" based on volume isotropic diffraction of laser radiation λ=532 nm on a fast acoustic wave in paratellurite for an ultra-wideband (bandwidth parameter η=0.67) signal with linear frequency modulation is considered. The results of measurements of the operating characteristics of the device manufactured experimental samples show good agreement with theoretical estimates.
