When using a hydrogen fluoride chemical laser, is it possible to increase the efficiency?
Goal – to consider the design features and operating principle of a typical chemical laser (CHL), as well as ways to improve the technical characteristics of the latter, and to conduct an analytical review of the principle of operation of a CHL, the active medium of which is hydrogen fluoride HF. The possibility of using conventional and photon-branched chain reactions (FRCR) is shown, during which part of the energy of the emitted photons is spent on ensuring the dissociation of the fluorine molecule F_2 into free atoms.
The result of the research is the development of proposals to reduce the energy costs of initializing XL radiation in the infrared wavelength range.
The practical value of the results obtained is associated with the possibility of increasing the value of the efficiency of CHLORINE.
