Abstract:

One of the most important problems in the construction of spacecraft is their energy supply. The correct choice of a possible option for equipping the spacecraft with an energy source ensures its ability to perform tasks of functional purpose during the estimated period of stay in orbit. The article describes possible alternative systems of spacecraft power supply, provides recommendations for choosing a rational option using the hierarchy analysis method. The main parameters of the systems of onboard power supplies of spacecraft are considered on the example of the batteries used and their comparative assessment by expert methods is given.

The method of applying the method of hierarchy analysis to solve the problems of multi-criteria selection of a rational option under conditions of uncertainty is given. A practical example of choosing a rational option for an on-board power supply with quantitative processing of expert heuristic judgments is given. The possibility of overestimating the priority ranks of the totality of the considered characteristics of the spacecraft power sources is emphasized, depending on the change in the conditions of their functioning in different orbits, as well as the content of the tasks performed.

The results of the work can be used in the selection of options for the use of onboard power sources of spacecraft.
