Abstract:

A computer system that performs tasks under the control of special software is one of the complex technical systems. It is characterized by increased requirements for the time of operations and reliability of the processed information. The problem of assessing the failure-free operation of software modules of special software of a multiprocessor computing system is quite complex and relevant in modern conditions.

The aim is to propose a mathematical model for assessing the failure-free operation of software modules of special software, which allows you to determine the number of backup software modules depending on the failure rates of duplicated and duplicated programs of multiprocessor computing systems operating in real time.

Known methods of improving reliability of software are discussed and compared. A mathematical model of evaluation of failure-free operation of software modules of special software is proposed.

The proposed model for assessing the failure-free operation of software modules will reduce the cost of developing special software.
