Abstract:
One of the factors that determine the reliability of the operation of computer systems, are errors in the programs. Testing and debugging are integral parts of the software development process. With the proliferation of multi-processor, multi-core, and cluster technology, the development of parallel programs is becoming increasingly important. The use of traditional methods of debugging programs designed to detect errors in successive programs, in general, does not allow to identify the communication error and other abnormalities characteristic of the parallel programs. Revealed the most common errors that occur in parallel programs. The possible ways to improve the quality of debugging parallel programs. The use of the proposed methods will significantly reduce the complexity and time debugging of parallel programs.
