Abstract:
We described a new technology for machining precision sliding head machines with CNC.
As an example, was chosen precision automatic lathe sliding head CNC Nexturn SA-32e. As a frequent changeovers lead to the loss of production time, using this equipment is usually for mass production. The presence of CNC does not provide sufficient flexibility for the selected machines. Therefore, the question arises about the usefulness of this equipment for the manufacture of small batches. There is a problem of reducing the preparatory-final time of processing by reducing the number of changeovers in the manufacture of a given range of components. To solve this problem was proposed a method to determine the optimal sequence of parts by grouping them according to the applicable tool. The details of the first are divided into groups according to the used tool blocks. Then within each group, items are combined into sub-groups according to the used tool.
The developed method allows to significantly reduced preparation and final processing time and number of changeovers.
