Abstract:
Ecological monitoring of water objects on the territory of Kaluga region in the framework of the powers of the Russian Federation includes the determination of the hydrological and hydro chemical characteristics, as well as identifying potential destructive channel processes.
The established dependences of hydrological characteristics allow estimating the water consumption at low water to watercourses in Kaluga region with the value of approximation reliability of 0.94.
The analysis of the hydrochemical properties of water bodies has identified anthropogenic and natural factors impact on the quality of the water environment. Thus, the opportunity to assess the effectiveness of environmental measures through the elimination of the natural component is identified.
Determination of background concentrations in bottom sediments of watercourses in Kaluga region has allowed to identify a number of sampling sites with anthropogenic and natural effect which have highly systematic.
Regularities of properties formation of the watercourses on the basis of the possible sources of influence have identified to determine the causes of pollution of surface water bodies and prediction of their hydrological and hydrochemical characteristics.
