The planar phased reflectarray Ku-band with linear polarization

Abstract:
The object of this article is reflectarray Ku-band with linear polarization. The structure of this reflectarray and the topology of simple resonator are described. The principle of operation of reflectarray is represented. The electrical characteristics of the antenna system was designed and analised by electrodynamic simulation in the CAD CST Microwave Studio. It was found that the developed reflectarray Ku-band meets modern requirements for antenna systems. The ability of competition with reflector antennas despite the lower values of the coefficient use surfaces was shown. The potential for the creation of conformal phased arrays systems with electronic scanning on the basis reflectarrays was highlighted. The resultants radio characteristics of designed reflectarray are given in closing part of the article.
