The search of optimal parameters of the filter layer for elements of a nonwoven polymeric fibrous material

Abstract:
The analysis of the structure of the test filter element of fibrous polymeric filter. It is shown that in the filter element «cut-off» layer should ensure efficacy set parameters independently from the rest of the filter element. Listed in the test results determined the optimal parameters of the «cut-off» layer of the filter, providing the necessary filtration fineness with minimum hydraulic resistance. As determined dependencies the resistance «cut-off» layer airflow of nominal and absolute filtration fineness, which can be used to control the filter elements during their production. The resulting data of the research make it possible to ensure the efficient operation of filter, suggest the feasibility of their use in water treatment.
