Abstract:
The method of solving the problem of identification of light petroleum products to determine the causes of fires of deliberate arson of vehicles. The proposed method provides a solution to this problem based on the use of atomic emission spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma. The results of experimental studies to determine elemental and quantitative composition of the metals present in the composition of light petroleum products on the basis of a proposed procedure of sample preparation and subsequent analysis by atomic emission spectrometer with inductively coupled plasma. For the automation of object identification is the software developed. The application of the proposed method can improve the accuracy of establishing the causes of fires in the arson of motor vehicles.
