Abstract:
The concepts, materials, systems and technologies available in the construction sector shall meet the applied ecological standards. At present time there exists and becomes sharp the problem to protect the human population against electric-magnetic «smoke». The «Radioprotection» Center at OJSC «EMC of «Vega» Corporation» pays a lot attention to this problem and develops with other companies together different radio-protective porous materials, which could protect human health in its surrounding conditions. All developed materials demonstrate advance engineering properties; they were produced using ecologically-safe carbon-containing radio-absorbing components. The most effective there are such radio-absorbing materials as radio-protective foamed glass, radio-protective filling-type foamed composite, radio-protective cellular concrete, which has a high coefficient of absorbing of electric-magnetic radiation, especially in UHF range by a low coefficient of reflection of electric-magnetic radiation. This material poses a number of properties: noise-absorbing, good appearance, heat-insulation, fire-protective and stable at atmospheric conditions. The radio-protective porous engineering materials besides their constructive functions ensure reducing of electric-magnetic noise in the UHF range up to levels provided by the sanitary regulations. These radio-protective materials are offered to use them for buildings and constructions or for decorative purposes, in order to protect personnel or inhabitants against extreme electric-magnetic impacts. Besides that, these materials could be used to arrange screened rooms for better compatibility of electronic equipment
