Abstract:
Development of stealthy high noise immunity radiolocation systems, capable to classify targets according to their selection apart from performing usual missions, is a relevant task nowadays. It is possible to realize it by using radar with complex noise-like signals. The needed stealthiness and noise immunity as well as realization of adaptation and optimization of probing mode could be achieved in case of acceptable complexity of technical solutions of signal generation and processing. Such solutions are achievable through relatively simple in realization of multiplexed and quasi-noise signals with combined modulation, built up from already studied types of signals. This study is focused on the mathematical model of multi-frequency quasi-noise signal based on relatively simple to realize harmonic phase modulation of basic narrowband random process with the use of expansion into Bessel function of the first kind series. Developed model allows performing accent computing experiments for evaluating quality rates of detection, measurement, selection and identification in radar as well as evaluating work stealthiness in various operating modes.
