Abstract:
Engine fuel system modernization improving economical and ecological characteristics of automobiles by means of purifying the fuel by mixing it with water, with further separation the mixture into two fractions in the other tank (light-purified hydrocarbonaceous fuel, heavy-water with heavy hydrocarbonaceous fractions) and utilization of purings in the engine-s combustion chamber is considered in the article. Conducted bench tests confirm that the use of a method of processing the hydrocarbon fuel is promising, it helps to improve the economic performance of internal combustion engine and to reduce specific fuel consumption up to 18%.
