Abstract:
The work is dedicated to important scientific and practical problem of energy saving while drying the pellets in a dense layer of the burn-ing conveyor machine. Due to the technical features of the roasting machine control parameters are the coolant temperature at the inlet of the dense layer of pellets and feed rate. The optimization criteria are average height layer of the moisture content of the pellets of the material and the price of electricity and the heat-cretaceous energy expended in the drying process. The results obtained used to calcu-late the energy-saving mode pellet drying. It was found that the optimal drying mode generates damped thermal wave intensifies the drying process. Thereby reducing energy consumption and increasing the quality of the finished product.
