The organization of information exchange in duplicate computer systems

Abstract:
In mission-critical information-measuring and control systems of high availability the dual-redundant computer systems are used where a significant indicator of the effectiveness of the system is the time of information exchange between the main computer systems and dual-redundant computer system. The article details the analysis of data exchange between the main computer systems and dual-redundant computer system to reduce loss of performance of a computer system with different methods of data exchange between complex-s computing modules. It is shown that the use of the module of computer interconnection, based on the mechanism of dual direct memory access, reduces the time for exchange of information between the computing module and provides access to the computing module with the failed processor memory, whereby there are additional opportunities to ensure information and functional security, fault tolerance and survivability of the computing system.
