Abstract:
The paper considers the impact of the incident Mach wave in boundary layer flow around a sharp leading edge of the plate. Presents the results of direct numerical simulation study of high excitation disturbances of Mach wave in the boundary layer of the plate with sharp lateral edges at Mach = 2,5. The simulation results mass flow and pulsation levels of mass flow. Defined the area of influence and comparing the results of numerical calculation with experiment. We used second-order approximation in time and third-order ap-proximation in space. The research needs to be continued in order to determine the effects of blunting radius of the edge on the flow.
