Abstract:
In today's world, the growth of energy consumption is one of the most characteristic features of human activity. Until recently, the increase in energy production was mainly due to increase in mining. However, the current energy situation faced with the depletion of their traditional resource base. This explains the growing interest in renewable energy sources among which a special place is occupied by semiconductor converters of solar energy has many advantages. In the production of semiconductor solar cells technological factors determine their output parameters. Therefore, the creation of a mathematical model relating the values of process parameters and output characteristics is important. The paper presents a mathe-matical model for evaluating the impact of electrophysical parameters of CdS and CdTe layers on the output parameters of solar cells based on them. The dependences of the open-circuit voltage and fill factor of the current-voltage characteristic of the concentration of uncompensated acceptor impurity and carrier lifetime. Based on these data, the known dependence of electrophysical parameters of semiconductor production technologies, we can make recommendations to the technology of solar cells CdS-CdTe, ensuring their maximum output characteristics.
