The internal combustion engine with the circular parallel movement of the rotor-piston

Abstract:
At the present stage of development of Armed forces of the Russian Federation active works on creation of perspective aviation power-plants among which is necessary to allocate two basic engines are conducted: the rotor engine with planetary movement of the rotor-piston, known as engine Vankelya, and the engine with circular parallel movement of a rotor-piston to which Australian engineer Sejrich has denominated «orbital». Both of the engine concern to family rotor-piston. From the point of view of expediency, practical realization the most suitable for military technics is a new multi-purpose internal combustion engine with circular parallel movement of a rotor-piston. In its design some features of the traditional piston engine and alternative rotor with hinge connection of blades to a rotor-piston are combined. Such approach has allowed to unite the basic advantages of these engines and to remove lacks inherent in them. Working process is organized in the isolated chambers located on a circle and proceeds the same as in the piston engine. At the same time in it there are no rod-piston groups, and the rotor-piston is installed on to a shaft and makes the circular parallel movement which is not having motionless positions. The rotor working as a piston element, is mounted in the case of the engine on the clown parts of a power shaft. The set of plates or blades which are concluded between the top and bottom face covers, reach between a rotor and the case of the engine and are connected with a rotor and the case in such a manner that can make hinge movements during work of the engine. The specified constructive differences allow in to reduce some times weight and dimensional parameters of the engine in recalculation by a power unit and open ample opportunities for creation of the perspective multi-purpose engine with purposefully changeable technical and economic parameters. This engine has all the bases and an opportunity to occupy in the lead position in following priority directions of world development engine building.
