Methods for evaluating the survivability of information-telecommunication networks

Abstract:
Methods of an assessment of survivability of the information and telecommunication communication networks (ITCN) are offered. The basic concepts in relation to the considered task are given. The properties providing survivability of ITSS in the set application conditions are defined. It is shown that each property from the point of view of its influence on operability of ITSS can be considered as a survivability element. The mathematical problem definition of calculation and an assessment of survivability of ITSS is executed. Methods of approximate estimation and exact calculation of survivability of ITSS are given.
