Abstract:
In this article describing multifunctional retransmission space system «Lych», developing in JSC «Academician M.F. Reshetnev»
Information Satellite Systems». This is the second generation of space retransmission system, providing besides main mission - data exchange with low orbit spacecraft-s, additional functions:
- transmission meteorological information from meteorological spacecraft-s to processing centers;
- transmission signal from space emergency system Cospas-Sarsat radio buoy to processing centers;
- retransmission from users GLONASS navigation system.
Improving servicing characteristics multifunctional retransmission space system "Lych" as compared to previous domestic systems providing the next feature:
- multifunctional, possibility for additional communication missions;
- information compatibility with foreign systems;
- using unified retransmitting channel;
- centralized control all system communication resources.
