The article gives the base concepts about possibilities and methods of 3D printing at present time. In the article the base methods of 3D printing, its advantages and disadvantages, the base applications, the possibilities and the perspectives of this technology in the future are given in short. The example of use of professional 3D printer at the enterprise JSC «KNIITMU» (Radio Engineering Corporation «Vega») is separately described in the article. The photos of operator workplace and the photos of manufactured details are enclosed, the stages of the work are described. The advantages gained by the enterprise after application of 3D printer are listed.
